da Vinci Casaneo Watercolour Brush
The Casaneo range of soft synthetic brushes just keeps on giving! The latest addition to this popular series is the DV490, a round with traditional quill ferrule featuring an extra long brush head.
Alongside the extremely high colour absorbency of the Casaneo, the DV490 comes to a long, perfectly shaped and very fine tip. While this shape is called a āriggerā, the traditional quill ferrule gives the DV490 more elasticity than standard rigger brushes.
While the Casaneo range is most suited to liquid colours such as watercolour and ink (including acrylic inks), the extra long setting of the DV490 make it fine for use with Fluid and SoFlat acrylics, with a little additional water. Acrylic colours should be washed from the brush using da Vinci Brush Cleaning Soap.
