Cranfield Caligo safe wash etching inks are designed to wash away safely and easily with just soap and water, without the need for harmful and expensive solvents. However, unlike other inks, Caligo inks are still oil-based and will therefore handle and print like traditional oil-based printing inks.
Can be used for all types of intaglio printing (etching, aquatint, line engraving, mezzotint etc).
This range does not contain any driers. If you want faster drying rates, you can add a small amount of cobalt or manganese driers.
